SeaSpine Gains CE Marks for 7D Surgical Cranial Module, Percutaneous Spine Module

Carlsbad, Calif.-based SeaSpine Holdings has received CE mark certifications for two new modules for its 7D Flash navigation system for use in surgical procedures.

The SeaSpine system uses visible light to create a three-dimensional image for surgical navigation in seconds, using a proprietary camera-based technology coupled with machine-vision algorithms.

The newly CE marked modules for cranial and percutaneous spinal surgeries are designed to improve speed and accuracy, the company said.
