Medtronic Earns CE Mark for Radial Artery Access Catheters

Medtronic has received CE mark certification for its radial artery access portfolio, which includes its Rist 079 radial access guide catheter and Rist radial access selective catheter.

The Rist 079 catheter, which previously received the FDA’s 510(k) clearance, is designed to access the neuro vasculature through the radial artery vs. access through the transfemoral artery.

The radial access selective catheter gained the CE mark for delivery of interventional devices into the peripheral, coronary and neuro vasculature.
