Subtle Medical Gets Canadian Approval for Imaging Software

Medical imaging company Subtle Medical has received Health Canada’s approval for its artificial intelligence-based image enhancement software, SubtleMR and SubtlePET.

The software products can be installed in existing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and positron emission tomography (PET) machines to boost image quality when conducting exams using a lower radiotracer dose. 

The software can also shorten scan times, allowing institutions to schedule more patients a day on their existing scanners, the company said.
