Biozek COVID-19 Antigen Test Gets UK’s MHRA Approval

The UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has authorized Biozek Medical’s rapid COVID-19 antigen test.

The test can deliver results in 15 minutes from a nasal or throat swab sample, according to the Netherlands-based company.

The diagnostic test, which is 98.98 percent accurate in identifying infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19, can be given by healthcare professionals or can be self-administered, with no additional laboratory equipment needed.
