Neoteny Gets CE Mark, FDA Premarket Approval for COVID-19-Killing Film

Neoteny, a Korean biotech company, has received FDA premarket approval, a CE mark and ISO 21702 certification for its antiviral film Acliv.

According to Neoteny, Acliv is certified to kill 99.9 percent of COVID-19 virus within 30 minutes. The antiviral film can also combat a variety of other viruses and bacteria that threaten human health.

Acliv is intended for application as an LCD protective film for medical devices and smartphones, as well as for kiosk and screen protectors. It will also be marketed as an antiviral LCD protective film for personal smartphones, tablet PCs and touch screens.
