MIM Software Gets FDA’s 510(k) Clearance for AI Contouring Device

MIM Software has received the FDA’s 510(k) clearance for additional automatically segmented contours and local deployment of its Contour ProtégéAI, an artificial intelligence-based auto-contouring solution.

The revised version of Contour ProtégéAI supports both cloud-hosted and local deployment in the U.S. It also features quality improvements to existing contours, Cleveland, Ohio-based MIM Software says.

The additional clearance covers head and neck, thorax, prostate and abdomen contours for Contour ProtégéAI, which is used with radiation therapy.
