Wision Gets CE Mark for AI-assisted Colonoscopy Diagnostic Software

Shanghai, China-based Wision A.I. has received a CE mark for its EndoScreener artificial intelligence (AI)-based software for polyp detection during colonoscopy.

The startup company, which specializes in AI-assisted diagnostics for gastrointestinal endoscopy, says the CE mark certification is the first of its kind issued under the EU’s new Medical Devices Regulation.

The software has demonstrated efficacy in improving the detection of adenoma in more than 5,000 patients in six randomized controlled trials, the company said.
