Siemens Healthineers Gets 510(k) Clearance for Two Mammography Software Products

Siemens Healthineers has received the FDA’s 510(k) clearance for two software products intended for mammography image analysis and workflow optimization.

The Mammovista B.smart software speeds up the process of reading breast images and the Mammo Dashboard tool provides visualization of key performance indicators in the breast imaging process so users can see how to improve the workflow.

The B.smart software reduces the number of clicks required for various tasks and increases image loading speed by up to 75 percent, the company said.
