Algorithmic Biologics Gets CE Mark for Its Tapestry IVD Testing Method

Bangalore, India-based Algorithmic Biologics has received CE mark certification for Tapestry, its in-vitro diagnostic testing software that uses algorithms to examine multiple samples at the same time.

The tool for use with quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) diagnostic tests was first cleared in India, where it is being used to screen large populations for COVID-19.

The Tapestry platform has since been extended to support other molecular tests, and Algorithmic Biologics plans to extend the method to other tests, such as newborn screening, HIV and liquid biopsies.
