Premier Medical’s COVID-19 Test Gains FDA Emergency Use Authorization

A COVID-19 test made by Premier Medical Laboratory Services of Greenville, S.C., has received the FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization (EUA).

The EUA covers qualitative detection of nucleic acid from the SARS-CoV-2 virus from nasal swab specimens that are gathered at home using the company’s INeedaCOVID19Test.com self-collection kit.

Analysis of the self-collected samples is limited to the company’s Greenville laboratory.
