Health Canada Approves Seegene's Allplex COVID-19, Flu and RSV Test

Health Canada has granted emergency authorization for Seegene's Allplex SARS CoV-2 FluA/FluB/RSV assay for use during the pandemic.

The multiplex polymerase chain reaction test can detect COVID-19, influenza A or B, or respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infections in a single test, according to the South Korea-based company.

Seegene has delivered 340,000 tests to Canada and is “fully prepared to supply enough test kits globally,” the company said.
