FDA Clears Surgical Masks Made by India’s Control Print

Mumbai, India-based Control Print has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for its medical-grade surgical masks.

Designed to protect against particulate matter, microorganisms and body fluids, the three-ply masks have also received CE mark certification in Europe.

The company said it is scaling up its manufacturing to supply the U.S. market as well as increased demand from existing markets.
