TytoCare Receives CE Mark for Its Lung Sounds Analyzer

February 17, 2022

New York, N.Y.-based TytoCare has received a CE mark certification for its artificial intelligence (AI)-based Tyto lung sounds analyzer.

The company says the web-based software module is an add-on to its TytoCare solution, a modular device and examination platform for remote medical exams.

An add-on to the company’s TytoCare examination platform for remote medical exams, the new software is designed to analyze recorded lung sounds to detect wheezing, helping physicians to better diagnose respiratory conditions remotely. The software processes recordings from the TytoCare Stethoscope, which has a CE mark and is FDA cleared.

The company is currently seeking FDA clearance for its lung sounds analyzer.
