Dexcom G7 Gains CE Mark for Continuous Glucose Monitoring System

San Diego, Calif.-based Dexcom has gained CE mark certification for its Dexcom G7 continuous glucose monitoring system.

The continuous monitoring system, which avoids the need for fingerstick blood tests, features customizable alerts that can warn of high or low glucose levels and help users spend more time in their desired range.

The device also sends real-time glucose readings automatically to a compatible smart device or receiver.

The CE mark covers its use in people with diabetes age two and up, including pregnant women, the company said.
