Defense Logistics Agency Awards Fujifilm a Five-Year Contract for Endoscopic Devices

April 21, 2022

Fujifilm Healthcare Americas has been awarded a five-year, multimillion-dollar contract by the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support for its endoscopy devices.

The contract, which includes training in the use of the equipment, covers all hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers operated by the U.S. military as well as the Veteran’s Health Administration, National Institutes of Health, Indian Health Service and other federal agencies.

The contract covers Fujifilm’s 700 Series standard, slim, treatment and zoom colonoscopes, which help gastroenterologists adapt the technology based on the patient’s anatomy and clinical needs. It also includes Eluxeo Endoscopic Imaging, which has three visualization modes: ultra-high definition white light endoscopy, blue light imaging and linked color imaging, for improved detection and visualization during exams.

The Defense Logistics Agency did not disclose the total value of the multiyear contract.
