Medicalgorithmics Gets FDA’s Premarket Approval for Its Qpatch Wearable ECG

The FDA has granted premarket approval to Medicalgorithmics for its Qpatch wearable electrocardiogram (ECG) device.

The device, which measures the individual’s ECG signal to obtain an accurate cardiac arrhythmia diagnosis over 15 days, features a screen that enables user interaction.

The real-time ECG reading can be observed on a smartphone via “near field communication,” allowing for ongoing tracking of the recorded ECG signal.
