Nalagenetics Awarded CE Mark for its Pharmacogenomics Software

Singapore-based Nalagenetics has gained CE mark certification for a new reporting module for its Nala clinical decision support software.

The PGx Core support module is companion software for the company’s Nala PGx Core polymerase chain reaction kit, which identifies the genotypes of top pharmacogenes.

Pharmacogenetic testing is mainly focused on identifying variations in enzymes that affect drug metabolism. 

The kit, which is only cleared for research use, reads 20 variants within four known pharmacogenes, and can generate up to 170 drug-gene reports.
