MicroPort CRM Gets CE Mark for Invicta
July 18, 2022
MicroPort CRM, a French subsidiary of China-based MicroPort Scientific, has received a CE mark for its Invicta defibrillation leads.
The implanted leads, which connect to implantable defibrillators, are placed into the right ventricle via the central veins.
The leads sense electrical signals from the heart and deliver either pacing therapy if it is too slow or defibrillation shocks in the event of a life-threatening ventricular tachyarrhythmia.
The CE mark was supported by study results showing the device had a 97.4 percent complication-free rate at three months, the company said.
