Genematrix Test Kit Gains CE-IVD Mark

South Korea-based Genematrix has received a CE-IVD mark for its Neoflex TB/NTM-5 test kit for detecting the pathogens that cause tuberculosis and leprosy.

The test can detect mycobacterium tuberculosis, which causes tuberculosis, and five types of non-tuberculous mycobacterium, which cause leprosy.

The multiplex test kit does not require a culture fluid and can detect the mycobacterium directly from sputum samples.

Genematrix specializes in developing multiplex molecular diagnostic tests, including for hepatitis, cervical cancer, sexually transmitted infections, respiratory infections and gastrointestinal infections.
