ResMed Acquires Mementor and Somnio Digital Health Application

Germany-based ResMed is expanding its digital product portfolio through the purchase of another German company, mementor, and its insomnia therapy software.

The somnia app, which delivers cognitive behavioral therapy for treatment of patients with sleep-onset and sleep maintenance insomnia, offers an alternative to the use of drug therapy.

ResMed is creating a separate unit that will continue development of the mementor technology for use in other digital health applications.

The financial terms of the purchase deal were not disclosed.
