Future Fertility’s Oocyte Assessment Tools Gain CE Mark

Future Fertility’s oocyte assessment tools Violet and Magenta have received the CE mark.

The tools use artificial intelligence to analyze 2D images of oocytes, which are immature human eggs, and generate personalized and validated insights for egg-freezing and in vitro fertilization patients.

The tools are meant to detect features that are invisible to the human eye and more accurately predict the likelihood of fertilization and embryo (blastocyst) development, according to the company.

By offering insights about oocyte viability rather than embryos, this advancement empowers clinicians, embryologists and patients to make more informed treatment decisions, said the company.

With the CE mark in hand, Future Fertility is seeking to gain the FDA’s okay as well.
