Chiropractic Straight Arm System Gains 510(k) Clearance

Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for its Chiropractic Straight Arm system with Dynamic Digital Radiography for the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions.

The system includes a detector that captures high-resolution images and delivers detailed bone and soft tissue visualization. A full range of motion enables all imaging views required while accommodating patients who are standing, sitting or lying on a table or in a wheelchair, said the company.

The system also includes Konica Minolta’s X-ray technology allowing the visualization of anatomy in motion so clinicians can interpret the dynamic interaction of anatomical structures, such as tissue and bone, with physiological changes over time, the company said.
