Ivory Graft’s Ivory Dentin Graft Gets CE Mark

Israel-based Ivory Graft’s Ivory Dentin Graft has gained CE mark certification for use in dental procedures for the repair or augmentation of bone defects.

The graft material is an active organic product derived from porcine dentin – the material that supports a tooth’s outer enamel layer.

In a study, more than 60 percent of participants who received the Ivory dentin graft achieved a significant increase in bone formation compared with a group treated with a separate porcine-derived bone mix, the company said.

The company has also filed for FDA’s marketing clearance for the product.
