Olive Diagnostics’ Olive KG Gains CE Mark

Israel-based Olive Diagnostics has received a CE mark certification for its Olive KG optical device for analysis of urine.

The artificial intelligence-based optical device, which can be mounted on any toilet, measures parameters that include red blood cells, proteins, nitrites, pH levels, as well as the volume, pressure, color and frequency of urination.

"We believe that our device will transform medical care to one of non-invasive prevention, aiding patients and healthcare providers to detect diseases earlier, even before symptoms appear," said Olive Diagnostics CEO Guy Goldman.

The company is in the pre-submission meeting phase with the FDA for a marketing clearance.
