Etiometry’s Platform Gains CE Mark

Etiometry has gained CE mark certification under the EU’s Medical Device Regulation for its artificial intelligence-powered software intended to help clinicians identify subtle signs of deterioration in intensive care unit (ICU) patients.

The software enables the collection, analysis, visualization and archiving of ICU clinical data by consolidating information from various applications into easy-to-interpret trends, helping physicians to make timely clinical decisions.

The platform can aggregate data from vital sign monitors, ventilators, near-infrared spectroscopy monitors, cardiac output monitors and laboratory information systems.

The software is not meant to be used as an active patient monitoring system but to supplement the hospital’s device monitoring, the company said.
