Whele Recalls Mighty Bliss Electric Heating Pads

October 28, 2022

Whele, doing business as Perch, has recalled its Mighty Bliss electric heating pads because of the risk of electric shocks, skin irritation, rashes, blisters or burns.

The company received 286 complaints between July 2021 and September related to the products overheating, sparking, burning or presenting other electrical problems, with 31 of these complaints reporting injuries such as mild shocks, burns and rashes or irritation.

The 544,212 affected products, which were manufactured between Jan. 8, 2021 and Jan. 3 and distributed from July 29, 2021 through July 21, were sold online through Amazon.com and Walmart.com.

No deaths have been reported in connection with the recalled products, the FDA said.
