Tasso’s TassoOne Plus Gets CE Mark for Home and Clinic Blood Collection

Tasso received the CE mark certification for its TassoOne Plus high-volume liquid blood collection device that allows patients to collect their own blood at home.

The device uses a lancet that allows for a “virtually painless process” that generates higher volumes and superior sample quality compared to traditional remote blood sampling, the company said.

TassoOne Plus is compatible with multiple standard collection tubes that fit into existing laboratory workflows and is also suitable for clinic use.

The device can be used in home healthcare settings and in decentralized clinical trials, the company said.
