Neuro20 Wearable Suit Retrains Muscles After Neuromuscular Injury

March 7, 2023

Neuro20 Technologies has received FDA clearance for its wearable Neuro20 PRO suit that contracts muscles to help correct habits that were formed in response to old injuries.

The whole-body Neuro20PRO suit uses 20 large-contoured electrodes to activate muscle fibers in 42 muscles independently — or in combination. The company’s wireless controller can communicate with up to ten suits at once.

The FDA has cleared the Neuro20 PRO System for the following indications: muscle re-education, increasing local blood circulation, maintaining, or increasing range of motion, relaxation of muscle spasms and reduction or prevention of muscle atrophy.

The suit’s ability to retrain corrective movement patterns without injury or exhaustion allows the patient to achieve a freedom of performance that is otherwise unattainable.
