Masimo Rad-G Contactless Monitor Cleared for Pulse Oximetry, Temperature

The FDA has granted 510(k) clearance to Masimo’s Rad-G with Temperature for pulse oximetry, respiration rate and body temperature.

The handheld monitor has a rechargeable battery that lasts 24 hours and is intended for use in a wide range of settings, including physician offices, urgent care, wellness clinics and by first responders.

“Rad-G is designed to work reliably on all people, regardless of skin tone, from neonates and babies to elderly patients,” the company said.
