YourBio Health Virtually Painless Capillary Blood Collection Device Cleared

YourBio Health received 510(k) clearance for TAP Micro Select, a painless phlebotomy device for clinic and home use.

The device uses the company’s bladeless high-volume blood collection technology to collect up to 0.5 ml of whole blood from capillaries.

Users significantly preferred the push-button collection device to venipuncture or fingerstick devices, the company said, adding that 95 of users saying they would repeat this self-collection method.
