Ezra Sees 510(k) Clearance for Ezra Flash AI Product for Faster, Better MRI Images

Ezra has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its AI product, Ezra Flash, which enhances the quality of magnetic resonance images and decreases the time needed to complete the company’s early cancer detection scan.

The company says it will use this technology to reduce the time of its full-body scan to 30 minutes from the current one hour, with a goal of reducing the time to 15 minutes.

The company, which offers its full-body scan in a few major cities in the U.S., says that 13 percent of its users have found potential cancer through its scan, and almost three-quarters of members have discovered non-cancerous but clinically significant disease states such as fatty liver disease, hernias, aneurysms, or vertebral disk bulges.
