CARDICA REVEALS EUROPEAN APPROVAL FOR ITS ANASTOMOSIS DEVICE IN CABG SURGERY

Wednesday, Cardica, Inc., an automated anastomotic system maker, revealed the approval of its C-Port xA Distal Anastomosis System with the grant of the European CE Mark or Conformite Europeenne. The device is expected to enable an alternative to hand-sewn anastomosis in coronary artery bypass graft surgical procedures.
