PFIZER NAMES JEFFREY KINDLER CEO

Pfizer Inc.'s board of directors named Jeffrey Kindler, the company's general counsel and vice chairman, to replace Hank McKinnell as chief executive, the drug maker said Friday evening. Kindler, 51, joined the company in 2002, and has been responsible for major corporate functions such as worldwide legal affairs, corporate and regulatory compliance and government relations, Pfizer said in a statement.
