Teva Pharmaceuticals' chances of continuing to neutralize the risk involved in legal battles with the innovative drugmakers through out-of-court settlements are growing slimmmer. The attorney general of the state of New York has refused to ratify a settlement that Apotex, a Canadian generic drugmaker, reached with Sanofi-Aventis and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
