DOCTORS ASK DRUG FIRMS FOR FREEBIES

Doctors regularly ask drug companies for gifts, free travel and donations worth thousands of dollars. A survey of 823 doctors found 15 per cent had asked drug companies to pay for conferences, international travel, staff salaries, and personal items including computers and microwaves.
