VALEANT LOSES $2.4M JUDGMENT, REPORTS SECOND-QUARTER LOSS

A California court has issued a $2.4 million judgment in a case brought by Caleel+Hayden against Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Caleel+Hayden said. The lawsuit in Orange County Superior Court challenged Valeant's termination of a distribution agreement for Valeant's Kinerease skin care product line. Caleel+Hayden argued that the contract was wrongfully terminated, and was awarded $2.4 million.
