ALBEMARLE RAISES PRICE OF BULK IBUPROFEN

Albemarle Corporation, one of the world's leading producers of bulk ibuprofen, will increase the price of its bulk ibuprofen by a minimum of 20 percent in Western Europe and in the United States for spot purchases effective September 1, 2006, and as contracts allow.
