Abbott India Enters Into Agreement With Novo Nordisk India

Abbott India Ltd has informed BSE that the company entered into a fresh distribution agreement with Novo Nordisk India Pvt Ltd for sale and distribution of their insulin products in India for the period Jan. 1, 2005, to Dec. 31, 2006. The old agreement expired on Dec. 31, 2004. Abbott India operates in both acute and lifestyle therapies. It is focusing on its core therapeutic areas in pharmaceuticals, namely urology, CNS products, gastroenterology, diabetes care, pain management, specialized anesthesia range and neonatology.
