ALDA Pharmaceuticals Files Patent Application in Europe Union

ALDA Pharmaceuticals has filed an additional national patent application in the European Union (EU) for the formulation and production of its infection control technology. ALDA recognizes the EU as a major market opportunity and has already registered its lead product Viralex in the EU. President and CEO Terrance Owen states, "Infection control seems to be an oxymoron. In many parts of the world, including Canada, infections are out of control. Multiple-drug resistant bacteria and hospital acquired infections are a large part of the infectious disease crisis. The efficacy of Viralex, against these dangerous pathogens will help to provide solutions."
