Lion Bioscience Says Investor Group May Make Takeover Offer

Lion Bioscience AG said shareholder Ian Humphrey-Smith has informed its extraordinary general meeting of a possible takeover offer for the company by a group of investors. The Lion stock was suspended from trade at 2:30 p.m. CET and will resume trading at 3:30 p.m., after Humphrey-Smith informed the EGM of a 'likely non-binding and non-specific takeover' purchase offer for the company and its assets. He indicated that he would not act on his own behalf, but on behalf of a group of investors, namely FM Fund Management Ltd and Zapis Capital Group.
