Clarient, Applied Imaging Announce End of Patent Litigation

Clarient and Applied Imaging announced that the two companies have reached a settlement ending the companies' patent infringement, unfair competition and misappropriation of trade secrets litigation. Under the terms of the settlement, the two companies have granted each other nonexclusive, worldwide licenses allowing use of their respective bright field and fluorescent microscopy patent portfolios for pathology applications.
