Dragon Pharmaceutical Reports US$943,000 Loss for 2004

Dragon Pharmaceutical Inc. cut its annual loss for 2004 in half compared with 2003, helped by a recovery of $2.1 million that had earlier been written-off. The generic drug company with operations in China said Wednesday it lost $943,000 or five cents per share in 2004. That compared with a loss of $2 million or 10 cents per share in 2003. Revenue for the year increased to $3.7 million, up slightly from $3.6 million the previous year.
