Confluent Surgical Raises $23 Million Fourth Round

Confluent Surgical of Waltham, Mass., said it closed a $23 million fourth round of venture funding, money that the biosurgery firm said it will use to expand the market for its lead product. CEO and founder Amar Sawhney said Confluent will seek to expand the reach of its DuraSeal Dural Sealant system worldwide, including the U.S., and to "amplify the commercial success" the product has had in select overseas markets.
