Firms Join to Develop Cardiovascular Devices

Plastic components maker Cascade Engineering is diving into the fast-growing medical market. The company announced a joint venture with Holland-based Surge Medical to develop and distribute cardiovascular medical devices and accessories to heart surgeons nationwide. The new company, Surge Medical Solutions, will be based in Holland.
