SkinMedica Raises $15M

Carlsbad-based SkinMedica announced yesterday that it has closed a Series E preferred stock placement led by EuclidSR Partners. Existing investors Apax Partners, Domain Associates, HealthCare Ventures, Montreux Equity Partners, Perseus-Soros BioPharmaceutical Fund, and Split Rock Partners also participated. SkinMedica is developing pharmaceuticals for the treatment of dermatologic conditions. Graham D.S. Anderson of EuclidSR Partners joins the board as part of the funding.
