Firm's Stroke Treatment Begins Second Round of Tests

Tucson, Ariz.-based ImaRx Therapeutics announced the beginning of treatment for the first patient in a new Phase II clinical trial for its stroke treatment. The company's SonoLysis is being evaluated for safety and effectiveness during clinical trials, which are expected to continue throughout the year. The treatment is designed to clear blood clots quickly without the use of surgery or drugs.
