Bentley Receives Approval to Market Generic Risperidone in Spain

Bentley Pharmaceuticals, a technology-based specialty pharmaceutical and drug delivery company with a growing branded and generic product line in Europe, announced that one of its Spanish subsidiaries, Laboratorios Davur, has received approval to market 1 mg, 3 mg and 6 mg generic dosage versions of risperidone in Spain. Risperidone belongs to a class of antipsychotic products used in the treatment of schizophrenia. The product is marketed by Janssen Pharmaceutica Products, L.P. in the U.S. under the trade name Risperdal.
