Thebe Medicines Buys Phyto Nova

Thebe Medicare, a division of Thebe Healthcare, has established a firm foothold in the natural medicines market with the purchase of Phyto Nova for an undisclosed amount. The move comes ahead of government regulations for natural medicines in preparation for the Traditional Health Practitioners Act, which will recognise an estimated 200,000 traditional healers. The Traditional Health Practitioners Bill was unanimously passed in parliament last year.
