CombiMatrix, Inter Medical Enter Into Distribution Agreement

Acacia Research announced that its CombiMatrix group has entered into a nonexclusive distribution agreement with Inter Medical to distribute CombiMatrix's CustomArray microarray products in Japan.

Inter Medical will market, sell and service the CustomArray products in the Japanese marketplace. CustomArray products are centered on a highly flexible and completely customizable DNA microarray. CustomArrays are offered with the industry leading turnaround time, order flexibility and high quality tools to interrogate focused sets of target genes or whole genomes for any type of organisms.

"This additional product offering will enable us to provide a complete solution when combined with our Molecular Devices/Axon Scanners and additional product offerings for microarray users," said Kazuo Umemura, president of Inter Medical.
