Monebo Gets FDA Clearance for Heart Monitor

Monebo Technologies has received clearance from the FDA to begin marketing its heart-monitoring equipment. Executives at the Austin, Texas-based startup, which have spent three years and an undisclosed amount researching the technology, say they now will license it to medical device companies that make cardiac monitoring equipment. Monebo's unique technology allows doctors to keenly monitor and record heart beat patterns in patients with cardiac problems.
